  1. Number 2 is interesting. It’s funny how we are afraid to take the next step in life or do something we only dream of or get out of a bad situation. We say if we only knew it would “be ok” and we would be in a better place we would “go for it” …. But honestly I don’t think the majority of us would read to the end if we were given a book about our lives. Even despite my fears, I think knowing takes out the excitement in everything- even life. It’s not the same. I think knowing would cause a sort of obsession too, like we are just waiting for those things to happen inclining us to “stop living” … Definitely an interesting quote.

  2. No, I certainly wouldn’t read it until the end. Mostly because of what Mariel states above. We’d become too worried about knowing when and/or how it’ll happen, probably so much so that we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the rest of our days. With that said, if you look at it from another perspective, reading it until the end would probably make you want to live life to the fullest by taking advantage of every opportunity presented to you instead of letting it slide or constantly postponing things you need and/or want to do. I’d like to read Hristiqn’s opinion on this topic 😉

    • Hello Pedro,

My opinion; I wouldn’t read it for sure. I think not knowing what could happen in life is the beauty of life! Knowing what would happen will just kill the pleasure. That’s my personal opinion Pedro.

  3. Hi
Having had a life full of fun and not without some serious tears I would really like to write the book.
At 86 and living in a sort of geriatric commune, which I am enjoying immensely, I am happily, daily, the receiver of some of an old friend’s humorous e-mails which set me up for the day.
But I was recently inspired by my son’s philosophy as Power of Attorney for his Dad:
If you now have the opportunity and resources to do it,
If there is something on your bucket list that you always wanted to do-
If it will give you joy and harm no-one,
Then get on and do it now –
You may not be here tomorrow

  4. Thank you for this site. I have been sending thoughtful quotes out to a group of friends for the last 6 months. It started when my son was away at USMC boot camp
I wrote him a letter everyday, at the bottom of each letter I included a quote. When he graduated started to text a daily quote to a couple people who were close to me or going through something in their lives.
My list is growing so I am always on the look out for a thought provoking or inspirational quote. Thanks again, I will be on this site daily.
    have a great day
